The player controls one of three characters in this horizontal-scrolling fighting game that features many different enemies and scenes. Mounted enemies (riding dragons, etc.) can be knocked off and the players themselves can then ride the creatures.

Game Introduction
There are three different player characters and each of them uses a different kind of magic: Ax Battler, the barbarian uses earth magic; Tyris Flare, the amazon uses fire magic; and Gilius Thunderhead, the viking dwarf uses lightning magic. Each player character also each has a different weapon: Ax Battler and Tyris Flare both use swords and Gilius Thunderhead uses the Golden Axe. The object of the game is to find and destroy Death Adder in order to rescue the king and princess whom he had kidnapped. Also, Death Adder killed Ax Battler's mother, Tyris Flare's mother and father and Gilius Thunderhead's brother. So, you must also help each player character avenge the deaths of their loved ones.
